Adriatic Gate Container Terminal recently hosted a special customer reception in Rijeka, gathering more than 100 esteemed guests, including representatives of shipping lines, freight forwarders, rail operators, BCO clients, institutional partners, shareholders and other stakeholders.
The reception marked the 15th year of AGCT as part of the ICTSI Group , a leading global terminal operator present across six continents.
The reception was also an opportunity to thank attendees for their continued trust, cooperation and support throughout the past 15 years, as well as to present AGCT’s vision and development plans.
The evening was graced by the presence of Enrique K Razon Jr, ICTSI chairman and president, and his wife, Mrs Felicia Razon. Their visit to Croatia underlined the importance of AGCT in the Group's long-term vision for the region.
Also gracing the occasion was Hans-Ole Madsen, ICTSI SVP for EMEA Region, who reflected on the strong partnership, remarkable growth and successful transformation of AGCT into one of the leading container terminals in the Adriatic region. On the other hand, Inigo Nuñez Mendibe, AGCT CEO, who recently joined the company, shared his vision for AGCT’s further development.
Prior to the reception, Mr Razon called on Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković to discuss further investments and collaboration opportunities in the Port of Rijeka as well as the importance of the Zagreb-Rijeka lowland railway project that will strengthen Croatia’s position as a key gateway to South-East and Central Europe.
AGCT once again thanks all its guests, partners, customers, and colleagues for being part of this milestone and for their continued trust and cooperation.
