Business Conference „Transport & Logistics of South East Europe and Danube Region – TIL 2014” was held yesterday at the Sava Centre in Belgrade, Serbia. One day conference ' TIL 2014 " brought together more than 400 participants in order to identify available resources , identify problems and propose constructive solutions , finding the optimal business model in order to encourage quality and permanently connect all members of the logistics chain.

 

All this leads to realization of benefits, savings in transportation and logistics of SEE and the Danube region. Through B2B meetings participants were provided with greater exposure and access to the target market and stimulating conditions for specific business arrangements were secured.

 

High-level government officials opened the conference; Aleksandar Antic , Minister of Transport of the Republic of Serbia, Ivan Brajovic, Minister of Transport and Maritime Affairs of Montenegro and Nedeljko Čubrilović , Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Serbia.

 

AGCT 's representatives were also present at this year's TIL. Our CEO, Phillip Marsh, actively participated in a panel discussion with the theme "Potentials and competitiveness of sea and river ports - perspective of transport in SEE and Danube region" where he had an opportunity to present all news related to the development of a container terminal in Rijeka in front of a large audience.

 

Finally, it is worth mentioning that 50% of this region containerized cargo is transiting through Rijeka, which is also the nearest port, fully connected by highway and with daily improving rail services.
